Magha Puja Day is one of the most important Buddhist holy days in Thailand. Each of the 30,000 Buddhist temples across the nation holds its own ceremony to mark the occasion. The ceremony at Wat Phra Dhammakaya is one of the largest held in Thailand.
There was news critical of the temple. There were claims that the temple had shot a laser beam towards the sun. Hearing this claim made me laugh. It was impossible. If the temple had been able to do this, why did they not enable me to view it? I was at the event but I did not see anything.
I always ask myself, “What do I live for?” When I had children, I told myself that I live for my children. Later this question still comes back to me, “What do I live for?” Now that I found Luang Phaw, I know what I live for.
